THE VEHICLE FAILED TO BE EQUIPPED WITH THREE SEAT BELTS IN THE REAR SEAT. THE FAILURE HAS CONTINUED TO RECUR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 219,950.

I OWNED A LEXUS 1994 LS400 CAR. I HAD A SAFETY COMPLAINT AGAINST LEXUS FOR PRODUCING FAULTY SEAT BELTS. MY FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT DOES NOT FULLY RETRACT TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY TENSION TO PROTECT THE SEATED PASSENGER IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION. FORTUNATELY FOR ME, THERE HAD BEEN NO ACCIDENTS SO FAR. THIS HAD BEEN A SAFETY ISSUE SINCE THE INCIDENT DATE.
