Car parked in driveway; started engine, shifted into gear, and before I even accelerated, the engine roared and the car lunged forward. Car parked in driveway; started engine, shifted into gear, and before I even accelerated, the engine roared and the car lunged forward. Lexus traveled approximmately 50 feet and crashed into the neighbor's concrete wall across the street. I was injured (broken ribs, etc.) and the car was totaled.When reporting accident to insurance company (USAA) I asked representative to have car inspected due to accident circumstances. I do not know if they did an inspection as I was in hospital and at home recuperating. NO prior issue of this type.
