TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 KYMCO SPADE. THE CONTACT HEARD NOISES COMING FROM THE FUEL PUMP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY POWERSPORTS (4110 LINCOLN BLVD, MARINA DEL REY, CA 90292, (310) 823-3300) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NEW AND THE NOISES WOULD GO AWAY. A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WAS PERFORMED, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A SECOND OPINION FROM AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE INITIALIZED AND THE SHIFTER ROD WAS STUCK, WHICH PREVENTED SMOOTH SHIFTING OF THE GEARS WHILE IN TRAFFIC. THE MANUFACTURER COULD NOT BE REACHED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 350.
