THIS TRAILER IS RATED FOR A PAYLOAD OF 2000 POUNDS. WITH TWO BIKES LOADED ON IT, FOR A PAYLOAD OF 1700 POUNDS, THE TRAILER IS UNSTABLE AND OVER 50 MILES PER HOUR WAGS SO SERIOUSLY THAT IT NEARLY CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. I TRAVELLED FIRST ON A RURAL ROAD AT 45 MPH, AND THEN UPON ENTERING THE HIGHWAY EXPERIENCED THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY UPON ACCELERATING. I STOPPED, RECHECKED ALL TIE DOWNS, TRAILER CONNECTIONS, TIRE PRESSURE, AND ATTEMPTED TO PULL THE TRAILER AGAIN. SAME RESULT. I REMOVED ONE BIKE FROM THE TRAILER AND IT TOWED ACCEPTABLY. THE TRAILER IS NOT CAPABLE OF SAFELY TOWING THE AMOUNT OF WEIGHT THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAS RATED IT FOR.
