The contact owns a 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Motorcycle. The contact stated that while riding at an undisclosed speed during a sporadic rainstorm, the motorcycle lost motive power. The contact received help to push the motorcycle to a safe location. The motorcycle failed to restart. No warning lights were illuminated. The motorcycle was towed to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the fuel pump control module. The motorcycle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 15,000.
