THE TECHNICIAN SAID THIS PROBLEM IS NATIONWIDE AND THAT HE COULDN'T TELL US WHEN PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE, BUT AT THIS TIME THERE WAS NOT A RECALL. HE ALSO SAID HE COULDN'T TELL IF THE OVERHEATING DAMAGED THE ENGINE. HIS NAME IS BLACKJACK. HE ENCOURAGED US TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE-WHICH WE HAVE. THEY ESTABLISHED A CASE FOR IT. THE TECHNICIAN SAID THIS DEFAULT, EVEN THOUGH WE DID NOTHING TO CAUSE IT, IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. HE DID OFFER US A DISCOUNT FOR A RENTAL CAR. WE PURCHASED THIS CAR BRAND NEW FOR OUR DAUGHTER TO DRIVE TO COLLEGE. WE THOUGHT JEEP WAS RELIABLE AND A REPUTABLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.
