TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP PATRIOT 4X4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V668000 (AIR BAGS, SEAT BELTS) EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR REPAIR. THE CONTACT RECEIVED THE NOTIFICATION IN OCTOBER OF 2016. AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED WITH THE DEALER (CHRYSLER JEEP RAM, 500 PRESCOTT LAKES PKWY, PRESCOTT, AZ, 86301). WHEN THE CONTACT ARRIVED FOR HIS APPOINTMENT, HE WAS INFORMED THAT PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE FOR THE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE; HOWEVER, THEY CONTINUED TO SEND RECALL NOTIFICATIONS TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT, BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
