Transmission and fuel injector malfunction: Vehicle shutters upon acceleration. Particularly noticeable driving up hill or when maintaining speeds. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Jeep acknowledges the issue, noted a malfunction with PICO data and a fuel injector repair was done under warranty. Stellantis deems the shuttering "acceptable." Safety is at risk as there is a hesitation and inconsistency in the transmission while driving. Yes the problem has been reproduced by 2 dealers, a Stellantis Starcase was opened and Stellantis has a SOL published for service centers but is refusing to release the fine print of the SOL to the consumer. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer despite 3 open cases requesting that a Stellantis Master Technician review the issue. Yes there were several warning lights including "Service Transmission" and "Check Engine" that began appearing at 6000 miles. The issue persists today at 14k miles.

The thermostat failed causing the vehicle to go into a reduced power mode while climbing a hill with a trailer. The dealer has a technical service bulletin for this issue but the overheating can call engine damage or an accident when the vehicle has reduced power. There were no warnings on the cluster until the car was already in a protection mode and power had been reduced. The cluster coolant temperature gauge is slow to respond and not accurate.

While driving my 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, the vehicle experienced a sudden and complete loss of power without warning. The engine shut off while the vehicle was in motion, including during a turn. When this occurred, I lost power steering, which made the vehicle difficult to control and created an immediate safety hazard. Prior to this incident, the vehicle had ongoing issues including overheating, repeated check engine lights, and power steering warnings. The vehicle has been taken to the dealership multiple times. A thermostat repair was previously performed, and at a later visit I was told there was an electrical/battery wiring issue that was repaired. Despite these repairs, the problem has continued. The loss of power while driving placed my safety and the safety of others at risk, especially since the failure occurred without warning and resulted in loss of steering assistance. I no longer feel the vehicle is safe to operate, particularly when transporting my children. The issue has been inspected by the dealership on multiple occasions; however, the root cause has not been permanently identified or resolved. While stopped in traffic with the brake pedal depressed and Auto Hold enabled, my 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L has repeatedly jerked and shifted itself into Park without driver input. This typically occurs after being stopped approximately 20+ seconds, often while a turn signal is activated for a left or right turn. When the failure occurs, the vehicle disables driver-assist systems, the turn signals behave like emergency flashers, false rear tail light error messages appear, and the check engine light turns on and remains illuminated. The vehicle will not move until the brake pedal is applied and the transmission is manually shifted back into Drive. The issue has occurred multiple times at different locations and dates. A recent repair replaced the vehicle’s primary electronics control module(s), but the same behavior occurred again afterward. Due to the unintended shift into Park and unpredictable system behavior, the vehicle is now parked and not being driven because I do not trust it to operate safely in traffic.

The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who connected the computer, but there were no codes retrieved, and was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact sent an email and videos. The manufacturer was contacted, who opened and closed several cases. The failure mileage was approximately 132.
