TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JAGUAR X-TYPE. THE CRUISE CONTROL AUTOMATICALLY GOES BEYOND THE NORMAL OPERATING PROCEDURES AS STATED IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO ADJUST THE CONTROL AND IT CONTINUED TO MALFUNCTION. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH NEAR ANOTHER VEHICLE THE CRUISE CONTROL SPEED DECREASED, INCLUDING WHEN CHANGING LANES AND WITHOUT WARNING, IT INCREASED. JAGUAR STATED THAT THIS WAS AN OPTION FOR THE VEHICLE, AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO ASSIST HIM WITH THIS CONCERN. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT HE COULD HAVE THAT OPTION REMOVED. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE 5,040. *AK
