CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO PEDAL BEING STUCK TO THE FLOOR WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING IN HEAVY TRAFFIC, THE GAS PEDAL STUCK TO THE FLOOR, ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. THE CONSUMER HAD TO PHYSICALLY PULL THE GAS PEDAL UP. THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO AN INCORRECTLY INSTALLED STUD THAT WAS MISSING IT'S KICK DOWN STICK. THE MECHANIC ADVISED THE STUD WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A COVER ON IT AND THAT THE STUD WAS UNNECESSARY. THE MECHANIC OFFERED TO REMOVE THE STUD, THE CONSUMER DECLINED AND PLACED A PLASTIC BOTTLE CAP OVER THE STUD. *JS
