2018 Jaguar E-PACE

The contact called on behalf of the owner of a 2018 Jaguar E-Pace. The contact stated that since the vehicle was purchased, an abnormal fuel odor had been emitting from the vehicle. The contact stated that the abnormal smell persisted. The contact stated that the fuel odor was strong when filling up the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to several independent mechanics who diagnosed that fuel was leaking into the engine bay. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was contacted, however, and refused to inspect or diagnose the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified and referred the contact to the dealer.
