THE PHONE/BLUETOOTH CONSTANTLY DISCONNECT DEVICES THAT ARE ADDED TO BLUETOOTH. OFTEN WHEN CALLS ARE MADE FROM YOUR CELL THROUGH BLUETOOTH, THERE IS A FRYING/STATIC SOUND THAT OCCURS. YOU HAVE TO HANG UP AND PLACE YOUR CALL AGAIN. THIS HAPPENS BOTH WHILE DRIVING AND STATIONARY.

INCLUDING ME GETTING MY CAR BACK FROM THE DEALER AND THEM LETTING ME HAVE IT BACK THAT WAY. ALSO, THE TIRES ARE HORRENDOUS, FROM DAY ONE, THEY PULLED THE CAR LEFT OR RIGHT ON THE CAR. ALL THE SETTINGS WERE CORRECT ON THE CAR. I WANTED TO HAVE THE TIRES REPLACED, BY THE MANUFACTURER, AND THAT CAN BE DONE BECAUSE NO IT'S TO LONG AND EVERYONE TOOK TO LONG TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN. NOT TO MENTION DUNLOP IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF.

THIS WAS A RENTAL VEHICLE, NOT MY PERSONAL VEHICLE, BUT IS APPLICABLE TO MULTIPLE BRANDS AND MODELS. THE SAFETY ISSUE IS DUE TO THE HEADLIGHT MODES. THE DEFAULT MODE IS OFF, YET THE DRL'S REMAIN ON. THESE ARE BRIGHT ENOUGH THAT YOU CAN DRIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND NOT REALIZE THAT YOUR ACTUAL HEADLIGHTS ARE OFF, WHICH MEANS THAT THE TAIL LIGHTS ARE OFF. I HAVE BEEN SEEING SEVERAL VEHICLES EVERY DAY WITH PEOPLE DRIVING WITH NO LIGHTS ON, EVEN IN POOR VISIBILITY. THE DEFAULT SHOULD BE FOR THE HEADLIGHTS TO BE IN AUTO MODE OR DRL'S MUST BE OFF WHEN YOU SELECT OFF. I HAVE BEEN SURPRISED SEVERAL TIMES THIS FALL BY DRIVERS DRIVING EXCESSIVELY SLOW WITH THEIR LIGHTS OFF ON THE HIGHWAY IN THE RAIN AT NIGHT. YOU CANNOT SEE THEM TILL YOU ARE VERY CLOSE. ALL OF THEM HAVE THESE NEW LED DRL'S ON AT THE TIME. THIS IS A UNIVERSAL ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. IT SHOWS A VERY BASIC LACK OF THOUGHT TO DESIGN HEADLIGHTS IN THIS WAY AND IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE IN MY OPINION.

24V470000 · Power Train:driveline:driveshaft

Jun 21, 2024

Nissan North America, Inc. (INFINITI) is recalling certain 2011-2013 M56, 2012-2013 M35 Hybrid, 2014-2018 Q50, Q70 Hybrid, 2014-2019 Q70, and 2015-2019 Q70L two-wheel drive vehicles. The driveshaft can fatigue and break.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A broken driveshaft can result in a loss of drive power, or a vehicle roll away when the vehicle is in park without the parking brake applied. Both scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the driveshaft, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 13, 2024. Owners may contact INFINITI's customer service at 1-800-662-6200. INFINITI's numbers for this recall are R24A5 and R24A7.
