WHILE DRIVING THE BRAND NEW MOTORCYCLE TRIKE ICE BEAR PST300-19 THE REAR LEFT WHEEL FELL OFF CAUSING THE TRIKE TO ROLL OVER. AS A RESULT I WAS THROWN AND HIT THE PAVEMENT HARD. I HIT THE PAVEMENT WITH MY HEAD, BUT MY LIFE WAS SAVED BECAUSE I WAS WEARING A HELMET. I END UP WITH A MAJOR HEADACHE AND BODY BRUISES. THE WHEEL FELL OFF BECAUSE ONE OF THE FOUR STUDS THAT HOLDS THE WHEEL BROKE. THE DESIGN AND QUALITY OF THE STUD IS DEFECTIVE AND WILL LEAD TO FURTHER BREAKS AND CATASTROPHIC ACCIDENTS. IN ADDITION, A COUPLE WEEKS BEFORE THE MAJOR ACCIDENT THE TRIKE BROKE DOWN TWICE DUE TO BAD QUALITY AND DESIGN. THE TRIKE STOPPED RUNNING IN HE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY. THE PROBLEM WAS THE CARBURETOR THAT WAS IMPROPERLY ASSEMBLED INTERNALLY AND THE FUEL PUMP WAS BROKEN. THEN THE FUEL GAGE STOPPED WORKING. AND A FEW DAYS AFTER THE EXHAUST SYSTEM FELL OFF ON THE ROAD AND ALMOST CAUSED AND ACCIDENT. I HAVE A STATEMENT FROM A WITNESS OF THE ACCIDENT WHOM HAPPENED TO BE AN ENGINEER. THE WITNESS EXAMINED THE BROKEN STUD AND THE TYPE OF FRACTURE WHICH IS TYPICAL OF FAULTY MATERIAL QUALITY. I ALSO HAVE A STATEMENT AND INVOICES FROM THE MECHANIC THAT WORKED ON THE TRIKE PRIOR TO THE MAJOR ACCIDENT. THE NUMBER AND TYPE OF PROBLEMS WITH THE TRIKE IS A SERIOUS CONCERN THAT WILL LEAD TO DEADLY ACCIDENTS. I HAVE CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DISTRIBUTOR SEVERAL TIMES, AND THEY REFUSE TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM.
