The contact owns a 2024 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. In addition, the contact stated that the hybrid system failure warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had persisted. The contact drove the vehicle to the shoulder of the roadway and turned off the vehicle.
