My 2023 Ioniq 6 is not charging as it has for 3 years. When charging to 100% my app States 347 and 382 miles. It should be 361 as stated by Hyundai. What happens if I drive under 45 mph after 5 miles the miles goes down to 303. It is not working as stated. It is not holding miles properly.

March 21st at around 7:30 PM, I was driving on the highway when my panoramic sunroof suddenly exploded—or shattered—completely out of nowhere. It was a clear night, no rain or debris, and there were no cars directly in front of me. Nothing hit it—no rocks, no objects—just a loud bang, and the glass was gone. I’ve got photos of the damage (attached), and it’s clear this wasn’t caused by an external impact. The glass blew outward, which makes me think it’s a manufacturing defect or stress in the material. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but this is a major safety issue.

The horn on my vehicle is defective after 16000 miles. I am available to take it in for an inspection. I was almost backed into and I had no way of alerting the other driver. This problem has not been reproduced by my local dealership but it has been at other national and international dealerships per forums. I am unsure if this component has been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance company, etc. This problem was random without warning which makes this even more of a safety concern since I had no clue this was defective until I actually had to use it.

The ioniq 6 horn is a two (2) tone horn. First, one (1) of the tones went out (lower tone). Now, the horn completely doesn't work. Reading online, this is a common issue with the 2023 & 2024 ioniq 6. This is the same horn (car is the same platform) as the ioniq 5, and lots of forums online also have people posting about their horns going out and not working at all.
Horn stopped working 18 months into owning the car. Numerous other drivers report the same issue.
Horn progressively not working. 2 components:high and low frequencies have died and the horn is kaput. Forty still under warranty in my case but seriously concerned for security while driving as this is sudden and unexpected!

1PE24028 · Electrical Arcing And Thermal Events, Potentially Leading To Fires, While Utilizing Enel X Way Usa, Llc's Juicebox Residential Charger.
Opened Oct 3, 2024 · Closed Jun 5, 2025
Status: closed (inferred from source dates) · Equipment:electrical
On October 3, 2024, the Office of Defects Investigations (ODI) opened PE24028 to investigate alleged failures of Enel X Way's JuiceBox Level 2 residential EV chargers. The allegations were described as thermal incidents and electrical malfunctions, which could trip the circuit breakers in Juicebox owners’ homes and disrupt electric vehicle charge cycles. On October 2, 2024, Enel X Way posted on its website that Enel X Way North America would cease operations in the United States and Canada on October 11, 2024. The closure would potentially impact the charging app and supporting software. ODI sent Enel X Way an Information Request (IR) letter on October 21, 2024. Enel X Way provided an incomplete response to the IR on December 9, 2024. Enel X Way later provided a complete response to the IR on January 24, 2025. ODI reviewed Enel X Way’s IR submissions to determine whether further action is required. Based on ODI’s analysis, there was no clear trend in the cause of the failures described in customer complaints and warranty reports. Additionally, there have been no recent reports alleging safety issues. The available information does not warrant further action at this time. The closing of this investigation does not constitute a finding by NHTSA that a safety-related defect does not exist. The Agency will continue to monitor for any safety trends and reserves the right to take additional action if warranted by future circumstances. To review the ODI reports cited in this Closing Resume, go to NHTSA.gov.
