The contact owns a 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT. The contact stated while driving approximately 35-40 MPH, the low oil warning light illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The contact was unable to veer to the side of the roadway. The contact was able to restart the vehicle; however, the failure reoccurred while driving in a parking garage. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they would be able diagnose the vehicle in several weeks. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the engine oil and the low oil warning light turned went away. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred a month later. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 105,000.
