PLASTIC FUEL TANK LOCATED UNDER RIDING MOWER HOOD IMMEDIATELY ABOVE AND BEHIND ENGINE/EXHAUST SYSTEM DEVELOPS CRACKS AND LEAKS GASOLINE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO HOT METAL PARTS. TANK WAS REPAIRED USING PLASTIC CEMENT AS RECOMMENDED BY AUTHORIZED HUSQVARNA REPAIR SERVICE SHOP BUT DEVELOPED NEW LEAKS SHORTLY THEREAFTER. MOWER USES A SINGLE CYLINDER ENGINE AND ONLY TWO CUTTING BLADES WHERE OTHERS USE THREE. THIS RESULTS LONGER BLADES AND MUCH HIGHER TIP SPEEDS AND EROSION, CAUSING SEVERE VIBRATION WHICH MAY CONTRIBUTE TO THE TANK CRACKING. REPAIR SERVICE ADVISED THAT THIS PROBLEM IS COMMON ENOUGH THAT THEY STOCK THE PLASTIC REPAIR CEMENT. *TR
