All dashboard warning lights come on They flash and cycle through. I have reported to Don Wessell Honda and Pineger Honda in Springfield, MO and Honda of Jefferson City, Jefferson City, MO. This stated sporadically in 2021 and is constant in 2023. I have paid for replacement parts based on the best guess of the problem. Scanning tool does not show codes. First alternator, then oxygen sensor and now injectors. Honda believes injectors are the problem. It is over $1,000.00 to replace them. I have found numerous people having the same issue on line. I believe these injectors should be covered under a recall. They are dangerous!!! When the flashing lights go off the car works fine; once they turn on, randomly, the car spurts and dies out. I have no power to drive. I have to manually turn off car and restart it to get power. This is extremely dangerous in the middle of the road. I purchased this vehicle new and had to have the computer replaced soon after I purchased it. It is beyond frustrating, expensive, and extremely dangerous to not have your car perform when your driving down the road. Please recall these injectors before I or someone else gets hurt or killed by the car losing power suddenly when driving. Thank you sincerely.

I have 2017 Honda CRV. I observed that my driver sear cushion is deformed. I took my vehicle to Honda dealer they inspected and said my cushion is deformed and airbag is loose. I called honda and they said they will investigate the issue, they investigated the issue and came back with comments that seat frame is bent and due to vehicle is outside warranty they can’t repair it. I checked online and found that people reported same issue in 2017 and honda fixed those issues. see - [XXX] Now I feel many people like me would have same issue and possible that they even dont know that air bag is loose and I believe its a safety issue. I feel someone should investigate this matter. I found this site and thought of sharing this. I observed this distortion of foam cushion since I bought my car but never gave any attentions to take it to dealer for checkup. I deeply regret it and now I am worried that this loose airbag is a safety issue. I AM SURE THIS ISSUE IS WITH MANY HONDA CRV 2017 CARS AND DRIVERS EVEN DONT KNOW THAT AIR BAG IS LOOSE. PLEASE INVESTIGATE. when I was on the call with honda representative I felt helpless as they were like its your mistake , our dealer said its because of outside influence and we cant fix it. I bought this car as new and it was never in any kind of accident. THEY ARE NOT READY TO ACCEPT THAT IT’S A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. Since 2018 have had sporadic electrical issues, brightness light comes on and then radio goes haywire changing channels on it’s own etc. Warning lights sporadically come on. Rear alert sensor stopped working for a while. Automatic braking has engaged several times without warning and no cars or objects in front of me while driving (very dangerous). When getting oil changes at dealer I mentioned the problem (1st time was radio only and they claimed to do a software update). Next time when I mentioned and showed a video they told me they know there’s a problem but don’t know how to fix it. Yesterday all my saved routes on my GPS including “home” were gone. The problems are becoming more frequent. Several times this week and from what I’ve read many people having the same problem and Honda not recalling the vehicle. Some people told it’s a defective BCM that’s back ordered and others say their cars are stalling, alarms going off , not being able to shut off the car and locks and FOB not working. Of course my car is out of warranty. These are serious issues and I’m afraid that my car is unsafe to drive. Others have claimed that dealers said there are also fuel injector problems. Apparently 2018 and other later models have been recalled but not the 2017. Many others being charged thousands of dollar to fix problem and then the problem comes back again. Someone needs to make Honda correct these serious safety issues.

In August 2022, I started my car and all indicators on the dash were lit. I took the car to the Honda dealership and they explained it was an oil dilution issue which was covered by Honda's extended warranty. Three weeks later after the repair, I started my car and all indicators on the dash were lit again. I took it back to the dealership and they diagnosed a problem with the fuel injectors. The service person that it was not covered under the warranty or a recall, but that they had noticed other CR-V owners experiencing the same issue. I had to have my fuel injectors replaced which cost me $1,491.76. It appears that the fuel injector issue is present on the Pilot, Ridgeline, and Odyssey vehicles manufactured around the same time as my CR-V, but a recall has not been issued. I filed a complaint with Honda to which they replied there was nothing they could do unless the problem was reported and investigated (by whom was unclear). The complaint has been archived by Honda but can be reopened should a recall be issued.

On February 21, 2022, the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened Preliminary Evaluation (PE22003) to assess reports of inadvertent activation of the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), an automatic emergency braking (AEB) system, in model year 2017-2019 Honda CR-V and 2018-2019 Honda Accord vehicles.  The reports allege that activation of the AEB system occurs while driving with no apparent obstruction in the vehicle's forward path, resulting in sudden vehicle deceleration. Honda indicated that they were aware of a total of X,XXX reports that may relate to the alleged defect. Honda provided analysis of the alleged defect and alleges that some customers possibly had an inadequate understanding of the CMBS and its limitations.  However, many consumer complaints allege that Honda dealerships were unable to reproduce the condition or state that they were informed that this is considered normal CMBS operation. To date, ODI has received a total of 1,294 consumer complaints of inadvertent activation of CMBS in 2017-2022 Honda CR-V and 2018-2022 Honda Accord vehicles. A total of 31 complaints alleged a crash and 50 alleged an injury.  The Total column in the Failure Report Summary removes duplicate reports and shows the total number of reports with unique VINs from all Manufacturer, ODI, and EWR data sources.  In some cases, there were multiple reports associated with a particular vehicle in which recurring failures were alleged.  In total, there were X,XXX reports, 93 injury incidents and 47 crashes involving vehicles with unique VINs that may relate to the alleged defect. PE22-003 has been upgraded to an Engineering Analysis to further assess the scope, frequency, and potential safety related consequences of the inadvertent AEB activations. The scope has been expanded to include assessment of model year 2020-2022 Honda CR-V and Accord vehicles.
