THE MECHANIC TOLD ME TO KEEP AN EYE ON THIS PROBLEM. I KEEP THE OIL CHANGED ON TIME TYPICALLY BEFORE 3,000 MILES. ABOUT FOUR MORE MONTHS GO BY AND MY DAUGHTER CALLS SAYING SHE'S ASIDE THE ROAD BROKE DOWN. HER CAR WAS SMOKING AND SHAKING. HER CAR WAS SHAKING. THE MECHANIC THAT WORKS ON OUR VEHICLES WAS CLOSE BY AND RAN TO CHECK ON HER. HE CHECKED AND SAID IT HAD NO OIL. HE ADDED OIL GOT CAR TO SHOP. HE TOLD US THAT IT WAS BONE DRY AND PISTONS WERE BACK FIRING. HE SAID A CAR WITH THIS LOW MILEAGE SHOULDN'T BACK FIRE PISTONS AND THAT OIL DOESN'T DISAPPEAR FROM THE VEHICLE. KNOWING THIS WASN'T THE FIRST TIME THE CAR RAN OUT OF OIL. HE LOOKED ONLINE TO SEE IF THIS WAS A PROBLEM WITH HONDA CARS. HE FOUND THAT THIS WAS A PROBLEM AND THERE WERE LAWSUITS AGAINST HONDA FOR THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL OF MY CAR. HE SUGGESTED WE TAKE IT TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP SO THEY COULD HELP WITH ANY RECALLS. THAT WAS SUCH A WASTE OF TIME. THREE TRIPS TAKING OFF WORK SCHOOL DANCE RUNNING BACK AND FOURTH 20MINS BOTH WAYS TO BRYAN HONDA FAYETTEVILLE. FIRST TIME WAS TOLD NO PROBLEM. THEY CHANGED OIL AND TOLD ME TO COME BACK IN 1000 MILES. SECOND TIME WAS TOLD TO MUCH OIL WAS IN THAT MAY BE PROBLEM. HMM DIDN'T THEY CHANGE THE OIL? THIRD TIME CHANGED SPARK PLUGS MISFIRE. FOURTH TIME MY FAVORITE, OIL CONSUMPTION TEST WAS FINE, CAR WAS A QUART LOW ON OIL, ADDED OIL.. I WAS TOLD BY DEALERSHIP AND HONDA CORP THAT IT WAS NORMAL FOR OIL TO BE LOW. IT'S NORMAL TO ADD OIL IN BETWEEN OIL CHANGES😂 WOW GOOD ONE HONDA.
