CRUISE CONTROL ON HARLEY DAVIDSON FLHTCUI (2004) WORKED INTERMITTENTLY. AT TIMES, THE CRUISE WOULD OPERATE NORMALLY, BUT THEN WOULD CUT OUT SUDDENLY AND WITHOUT WARNING. OR, THE CONTROL PANEL INDICATED THE CRUISE WAS ON, WHEN IN FACT IT WASN'T. 4-9-05 WAS NOT FIRST INCIDENT; THERE WERE NUMEROUS PRIOR EVENTS.
