NOTICED 2 HAIRLINE CRACKS/FRACTURE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF STEERING WHEEL ON THE DASHBOARD. DASH NOW RATTLES. STEERING WHEEL ISSUE WAS RESOLVED UNDER WARRANTY, BUT NOT THESE DASHBOARD CRACKS. GOOGLE SEARCH SEEMS TO HAVE IDENTIFIED SAFTEY RECALLS WITH OTHER MODELS THAT HAVE THESE TYPES OF CRACKS ON THE DASHBOARD, BUT NOT WITH THIS VIN. THE CONTACT ENGAGED THE AUTOMATIC TRUNK MECHANISM AND SUDDENLY THE TRUNK LID CLOSED ON HIS HAND WHICH RESULTED IN A MINOR INJURY TO THE HAND DURING THE IMMEDIATE CLOSURE. THE CONTACT STATED THERE WAS NOT AN ALERT SAFETY FEATURE EQUIPPED ON THE VEHICLE FOR THE TRUNK CLOSURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 15,000.
