TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GMC SIERRA 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS FILLED WITH FUEL AND THE GAUGES SHOWED THAT THE TANK WAS FULL. THE FOLLOWING DAY, WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE FUEL GAUGE SHOWED LESS THAN A HALF TANK OF FUEL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS NO SIGNS OF A FUEL LEAK OR ANY FUEL ODOR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
