CONTACT STATES: ABS SYSTEMS IS CAUSING A LOT OF PROBLEMS. THERE ARE NO LIGHTS THAT SHOW ABS SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. AT LOW SPEEDS THE BRAKES WORK 6-7 MPH AND BELOW THEY FAIL TO PROVIDE STOPPING POWER, ACCOMPANIED BY A LOUD RETCHING NOISE. *AK

1ST OCCURRENCE 05/03WITH 28000 MILES, WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH ON MAJOR ROAD VEHICLE SUDDENLY DIED OUT AND WOULD NOT RESTART.VEHICLE TOWED INTO DEALER UNDER WARRANTY ,AND FUEL PUMP AND FILTERS REPLACED.*AK 2ND OCCURRENCE 06/04 BOTH HUB BEARING FROZED ON CAR,MAJOR REPAIR TO FRONT BRAKES. 3RD OCCURRENCE 03/05 WHILE DRIVING CAR AGAIN 50MPH, CAR SUDDENLY DIED AND WOULD NOT START.VEHICLE TOWED INTO DEALER AND AGIN WAS TOLD THE FUEL PUMP WAS BAD, WHICH I HAD REPLACED AND A WEEK LATER THE VEHICLE DIED AGAIN.TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER AND NOW WAS TOLD THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.THE DAY I PICK THE VEHICLE UP, I GOT INTO THE CAR AND IT WOULD NOT START. SERVICE CNTR KEPT THE CAR OVERNIGHT AND WAS TOLD IT STARTED RIGHT UP THE NEXT DAY AND ALL THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I PICK THE VEHICLE UP AND DROVE IT HOME AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT 1 HOUR LATE THE VEHICLE WILL NOT START. 2 FUEL PUMPS AND FUEL REGULATOR LATER AND THE CAR IS NOT RUNNING.EVERY WEBSITE I VISITED EACH CONSUMER WHO LAUNCHED A COMPLAINT HAS HAD THE SAME IDENTICAL PROBLEM.WHICH HAS DEFINITELY HIT OUR POCKETS.
