WHILE PASSING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THE TRANSMISSION FAILED. I WAS FORCED TO EITHER TAKE TO THE DITCH, RUN THE GUY OFF THAT I WAS TRYING TO PASS OR HAVE A HEAD ON COLLISION. I TOOK TO A DITCH TO SAVE MY FAMILY AND OTHERS. I HAD THE TRANSMISSION SERVICED AT THE DEALER ON 12/9/2003 AND NO PROBLEMS WERE FOUND. THE TRANSMISSION FAILED WITH NO WARNING ON 1/5/2004. BOTH A ROAD SIDE TRANSMISSION SHOP AND THE DEALER AGREED THAT THERE IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THESE TRANSMISSIONS. THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE "SUN SHELL" FAILING. THERE IS CURRENTLY A REVISED PART IN PRODUCTION FOR INCORPORATION BUT NO RECALL TO COVER THE CONSUMER.*AK
