I own a 2022 Genesis G70. The driver’s-side front headlamp assembly has developed significant and persistent moisture/condensation inside both sections of the lamp. The condensation does not clear during normal driving or after the lights have been operated for more than 30 minutes. The problem has now progressed from moisture inside the assembly to an electrical lighting failure. The driver’s-side front turn signal is no longer functioning, the vehicle displays a “Check turn signal” warning and master warning indicator, and the turn signal hyperflashes when activated.

I had them replaced once under warranty and the same thing happened again. The Genesis dealership and Genesis customer care now refuse to take responsibility bc my warranty expired. Found condensation on both headlights. Took to dealer and they stated that it was caused by rock chips and Genesis will not cover the cost of repair. I talked to Genesis corporate office and they said condensation is normal and they will not repair it. I took my car to a body shop and they said the cracks are coming from where the screws attach to the headlights. All the cracks on the headlights are where the screws are. Now the daytime running lights and the turn signals are not working. This is a safety issue.

My vehicle is just over two years old and this has happened three times. Every light and warning message on the dash comes on all at once and the vehicle is put into limp mode. Going from 50 miles per hour to a little over 5 miles per hour in just a few seconds. Genesis also doesn't seem to think its an issue considering their dealers have had the car for two months and the only explanation I have been given is, "There is nothing wrong with your car" or "The car is driving great, you can pick it up." I have never felt scared to drive a car in my 10 plus years of driving until I purchased a 2022 Genesis G70.
