Ford knew that the transmission was going bad on these Mustangs. When I attempt to accelerate my car does not move. Imagine this happening in traffic and me being killed

I TURNED IGNITION OFF, PUT CAR IN PARK, STEPPED OUT OF CAR AND AFTER APPROXIMATELY 2 - 5 MINUTES FIRE WAS VISIBLE BELOW BUMPER THAT RAPIDLY TURNED INTO A FULL FLEDGED FIRE ENGULFING THE ENTIRE CAR. THE COLLISION CAUSED NO DAMAGE TO THE CAR PAST THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE, FLYWHEELS UNTOUCHED. FIRE TRUCK ARRIVED TO PUT OUT FIRE. NO EXPLOSION OCCURRED. THE COLLISION SHOULD NOT HAVE CAUSED A FIRE

MY BACK PASSENGER FLOOR IS SOAKING WET FOR NO REASON. I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH MY AIR CONDITIONING. DEALERSHIP SAID I HAD A LEAK BUT COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM. I RESEARCHED WHEN THEY COULDN'T FIND IT. MY CAR STARTED TO NOT ONLY BLOW HOT AIR, BUT STARTED SMELLING MOLDY. MY CABIN AIR FILTER AND THE CARPARTMENT WAS FULL OF WATER. THE FILTER WAS SOAKING WET AND FULL OF MOLD. I CHANGE IT AND DRAINED THE WATER MYSELF. MY CAR AC RAN BETTER THAN EVER UP TO YESTERDAY. MY AC IS NOT BLOWING THE ICE COLD AIR AND THEIR IS LOTS OF WATER ON THE BACK FLOOR. I HAVE HEATED SEATS. THE ELECTRICAL PARTS ARE UNDER THE SEATS. I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP I HAVE THE BEST WARRANTY BUT IT DOESN'T COVER WATER. IT DIDN'T COVER THE AC EITHER. I'M TOLD I'M GOING TO HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $300+ TO FIX MY CAR WHEN THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH 2005- PRESENT MUSTANGS. LOOK AT HTTP://WWW.ALLFORDMUSTANGS.COM/FORUMS/2011-2014-MUSTANG-TALK/441897-2011-GT-PASSENGER-FOOT-WELLS-FLOODED-DURING-RAINSTORM.HTML#/FORUMSITE/20799/TOPICS/441897?PAGE=1. HE HAD THE SAME ISSUE. I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY SEAT BELT RECALL TO BE FIXED. I'VE HAD MY SEAT BELT WARNING A YEAR AFTER I GOT THE CAR. I WAS TOLD IT TOO WASN'T COVERED BY THE WARRANTY AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC TO SEE WHAT IS CAUSING THE WARNING LIGHT ON MY DASH. FORD NEEDS TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CARS AND START FIXING THEM. I HAVE SEVERE ALLERGIES. MY BACK SEAT ALREADY HAS GREEN LOOKING MOLD ON THE CARPET THAT OBVIOUSLY THE WATER HAS BEEN THERE FOR SOME TIME. I'M VERY UPSET BY HOW IT'S ABOUT THE MONEY AND NOT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYMORE. I DON'T FEEL SAFE AND I OWE TOO MUCH. I CAN'T GET OUT OF MY CAR LOAN SO I'M STUCK WITH THIS LEMON. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME. LOOK INTO THE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS OUT ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THE CABIN AIR FILTER DRAIN BACKING UP INSIDE THE CAR. FORD NEEDS TO FIND A SOLUTION AND FIX THE DAMAGES DONE SO FAR. MY CAR STAYS IN A GARAGE EXCEPT WHEN I'M AT WORK. I HOPE YOU WILL LOOK INTO MY ISSUE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

PE11024 · Inability To Shift Gears On Acceleration

Opened Aug 3, 2011 · Closed Dec 14, 2011

Status: closed (inferred from source dates) · Power Train:manual Transmission

The Office of Defects Investigations (ODI) analyzed complaint data provided by Ford as well as complaints submitted to ODI from consumers. In total, there were 364 unique reports indicating various shift quality issues while driving.Ford identified several factors that may contribute to shift quality concerns in the subject vehicles, including cold transmission, clutch stay-out at high engine speeds, gear clash or grinding, and gradual loosening of clutch plate bolts in some early production vehicles. The largest percentage of complaints indicated higher than expected shift efforts in cold ambient temperatures. These complaints were related to transmission fluid viscosity and the higher shift efforts resolved themselves with the drivetrain warming.Ford published technical service bulletin TSB 11-3-18 to inform technicians that a lower viscosity fluid was available for use to address the cold shift issues. The clutch stay-out condition typically occurs at engine speeds greater than 4000 rpm.It does not prevent the selection of any gear, but may delay clutch re-engagement depending on how long the driver maintains the higher engine speed.Ford identified rotating inertia of the clutch components as the root cause and replacement clutch pedal parts were made available under Ford TSB 10-19-4.A number of reports alleged increasing difficulty selecting gears along with gear clash or grinding.Grinding or notchy gear shifts may be caused by gradual loosening of clutch plate fasteners, which is promoted by certain aggressive shifting. This condition is progressive in nature and initially results in symptoms related to shift quality/feel.Clutch plate bolt loosening will not result in inability to select any gear unless the progressive symptoms are ignored until complete clutch failure occurs.ODI?s analysis identified only five complaints alleging an inability to shift into gear due to loose clutch plate bolts.None of these resulted in a stall and gear shifting could occur before engine start.A revised fastener was designed and implemented in production and is available for service through a special service message. There is no indication of loss of motive power or unreasonable safety risk associated with the alleged defect in the subject vehicles. This preliminary evaluation is closed.
