SUFFERED COMPLETE BRAKE FAILURE, PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR APPROACHING TRAFFIC AT A RED LIGHT. I HAD TO JUMP THE CURBS AND DRIVE OFF THE ROAD TO AVOID A COLLISION WITH THE STOPPED CARS. I WAS ABLE TO DOWN SHIFT AND USE THE PARKING BRAKE TO STOP THE CAR AND LIMP TO A REPAIR SHOP (AT SLOW SPEED USING THE PARKING BRAKE). THEY FOUND A…

THEY FOUND A SPIT IN THE STEEL BRAKE LINE JUST BELOW THE RADIATOR THAT LED TO THE CATASTROPHIC LOSS OF BRAKES.
