The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 MPH downhill, the vehicle stalled. The contact shifted to neutral(N), and the vehicle rolled to a stop. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was able to restart, and the contact resumed driving. The contact stated that the failure had recurred several times while driving. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated to respond upon depressing the accelerator pedal. The dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the vehicle could not be diagnosed because the parts for the recall repair were not yet available. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to wait for a second recall letter. The manufacturer advised the contact that the vehicle was safe to drive. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000.
