The contact owns a 2024 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that while driving and coming to a stop, the Engine Auto Start-Stop system failed to engage, and the engine revved significantly, causing the vehicle to move forward unintendedly. The contact stated that the failure persisted while standing on the brake pedal, requiring the contact to shift to neutral(N) or to park(P) to stop the engine. The contact stated that the failure had occurred on two occasions. The contact stated that the vehicle nearly moved into oncoming traffic on the first occasion and the vehicle nearly crashed into the rear of another vehicle on the second occasion. The failure also required the contact to steer the vehicle away from another vehicle or to shut off the engine to avoid a crash. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that the failure might be related to a low battery. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.

Soft top cable that secures stop top became loose or broke. Only opened the top 5-10 times. There is now i rattle and the top is not secure. This is horrible. I have found this mentioned mulitple online threads trying to figure out how to fix. This is obviously a manufacture defect. I bought the bronco in feb of 2025.

Subject: Unresolved Safety Recall – Ford Bronco To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an outstanding safety recall on my Ford Bronco. I received a recall notification letter from the manufacturer in January of this year concerning a critical safety issue. However, as of today’s date, the issue has not been resolved, nor have I received a clear timeline for repair. When I first purchased the vehicle, I noticed a pronounced bouncing sensation while driving at speeds around 70 mph. I brought this to the attention of the dealership, but they assured me that the vehicle was functioning normally and that there was nothing wrong. However, the existence of this unresolved recall has made me question whether the issue I experienced is truly unrelated—or if it was early evidence of a deeper safety concern. I feel unsafe driving the car, and no receiving any information about when the necessary parts or services will be available. This delay in action leaves my vehicle potentially unsafe and creates significant inconvenience, as I rely on it for daily transportation. I urge the NHTSA to investigate the prolonged delay in remedying this recall. Consumers deserve prompt and transparent resolution when their safety is at risk.
