WHEN PULLING TRAILER BRAKES WENT COMPLETELY OUT THE FIRST TIME I STEPPED ON THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE SECOND TIME I APPLIED THE BRAKES, THE FRONT RIGHT PASSENGER TIRE TOTALLY LOCKED UP AND PUT A FLAT SPOT ON TIRE. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER & THEY SAY EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT FINE. IT DID THIS ALL THE WAY HOME FROM OUR TRIP. FURTHERMORE, THE TRUCK HAS ALWAYS HAD A STEERING PROBLEM, IT WANDERS. THE FOG LIGHTS STOPPED WORKING SHORTLY AFTER I GOT THE TRUCK AS WELL & THE DEALER REPLACED THE SWITCH.
TOOK VEHICLE TO RUSTON LA DEALER THEY CLAIMED THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG. NOT HAPPY. NO SAFETY DEFECT LISTED WITHIN SUMMARY. *AK

THIS VEHICLE WAS PERCHASED ON 9-10-99. ON 8-27-99 THE STEERING COLUMN WAS REPLACED. ON 9-19-99 WHILE MAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN AT A STOP SIGN THE STEERING WHEEL STUCK IN PLACE . I HAD TO YANK ON THE WHEEL AND I HEARD AND FELT A CRUNCH AS THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME UNSTUCK. IT WAS LATER TOWED TO A SERVICE GARAGE WHERE THEY REPLACED A PART IN THE STEERING WHEEL CALLED A CLOCK SPRING.
WHEN USING THE BRAKES TO SLOW OR STOP THE VEHICLE, SEVERE SHAKING RESULTS.DEALER UNABLE TO FIX AFTER 4 ATTEMPTS.DODGE ENGINEERS APPARENTLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG. LITIGATION PENDING.
