WHEN ATTEMPTING TO START MY DART, THE CLUTCH PEDAL WILL HAVE NO TENSION IN IT. THE PEDAL WILL GO STRAIGHT DOWN TO THE FLOOR WITH NO EFFORT AND WILL STICK DOWN. I HAVE TO USE MY FOOT TO PULL IT BACK UP. THE CAR WILL ALSO NOT GO INTO GEAR WHEN THIS OCCURS. YOU HAVE TO EITHER TURN THE CAR OFF OR LET IT STALL, THEN PUMP THE CLUTCH 10-20 TIMES IN ORDER TO GET THE TENSION NEEDED. SOMETIMES THIS DOESN'T HELP AT ALL AND YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO ATTEMPT TO DRIVE IT. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE! FCA KNOWS THERE IS AN ISSUE, THEY'VE EXTENDED THE WARRANTY TO 60,000, BUT MY CAR HAVING 83,XXX MILES THEY DON'T CARE. FIRST EXTENDED SERVICE CORPORATION WHO I PURCHASED AN "EXTENDED SERVICE AGREEMENT" THROUGH DOESN'T CARE EITHER. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR AND THE REPRESENTATIVE FLAT OUT TOLD ME "NO" AND HUNG UP. I'VE BEEN HAVING THIS PROBLEM FOR WELL OVER A YEAR. WE'VE CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND OTHERS AROUND AND THEY SAID IT WOULDN'T BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN, HOW IS IT NOT A RECALL?!?

THE CAR SUDDENLY DECREASED IN SPEED MY ENTIRE DASHBOARD LIT UP, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND THE THROTTLE CONTROL LIGHT STAYED ON. LUCKILY I WAS VERY CLOSE TO AN EXIT AND PUT MY FLASHERS ON AND EXITED TO GET TO SAFETY. THIS CAR HAS BEEN ACTING UP WITH DAY ONE AND CONTINUES TO IMPRESS ME WITH THE # OF REPAIRS DONE. THERE IS ALSO SOMETHING THAT HAS BAFFLED ABOUT 5 MECHANICS AND IS STILL DOING. THE CLUTCH KEEPS ON STICKING AND THE CAR CAN NOT BE PUT INTO GEAR. MANY MECHANICS AND DEALERSHIPS CAN NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX OR WHAT IS WRONG. I WILL NEVER BUY A CHRYSTLER BRAND AGAIN AND DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND.
