This vehicle has active driving assist safety failure. At highway speeds on right turns the system offers absolutely no detectable steering wheel assistance to keep the vehicle in the lane. If the driver does not keep the vehicle in the lane the system will let the vehicle veer into the next lane to the left. after entering that lane about half way the active lane assist will vibrate steering wheel indicating the vehicle has left the lane, but will not provide any assistance to the steering wheel. The vehicle has been this way since new and now has 2500 miles. The vehicle was brought to Chrysler dealer who stated all sensors check out fine and the system is working fine. The system is not working fine and I almost wrecked into construction retaining walls or adjacent vehicles multiple times over this. Also the active driving assist for left turns will consistently put the vehicle left wheels onto the lane divider reflectors meaning the car is partially in the other lane. all this is 100 percent repeatable every time, no variability in any of this. When the active driving assist is OFF the active lane assist works correctly and provides plenty of steering wheel resistance to veering out of the lane markings so this smells like a SW failure, not a hardware sensor failure.
