I received the recall notification for Campaign 25V-302 regarding the Curtain Airbag (CAB) defect, which per the manufacturer's notice may fail to retain sufficient pressure during deployment, increasing the risk of occupant ejection through a side window during a crash. The notification informed us that no parts were available at that time. Many months later we received another notification that parts were now available. Upon contacting the dealer, I was informed that parts were not available. I have been waiting for parts to become available for an extended period. Most recently, the dealer scheduled a repair appointment for Tuesday of this week. Approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment, the dealer called to cancel, stating that the parts were still not available. A new appointment was scheduled for the following week. As of today, the dealer has confirmed parts are still not available. Throughout this period, I have been required to continue operating the vehicle, including with my family as passengers, with a known, unremedied ejection-mitigation defect. The manufacturer has not offered a loaner vehicle or any alternative transportation, and no firm parts availability date has been provided. Concurrent stranding failure: Separately, today (23rd April), the vehicle failed to start in my driveway. Symptoms included: interior electronics (infotainment, lights) powered on, but the start button produced no response, the brake pedal would not depress (electronic brake booster inoperative), and the steering wheel remained locked. No error message was displayed. The vehicle was ultimately determined to have a dead 12V battery, the second battery failure on this vehicle, with the previous battery having been replaced under warranty by the dealer in August 2025 (only 8 months prior to this failure). The dealer has declined to investigate whether a parasitic electrical draw or other underlying defect is causing repeat battery failures.

The contact owns a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated. Additionally, several other unknown warning lights were intermittently illuminated. The contact stated that the hybrid system was inoperable and failed to function properly, and the charging system failed to fully charge the vehicle. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V302000 (Air Bags). The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with several electrical failures. The side curtain air bags failed to operate as needed, and the contact was informed that the side curtain air bags needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 51,416.

Vehicle went into limp mode three times while driving on the highway, forcing us to pull over to the shoulder. Luckily there was a safe place to pull over but created a major safety concern. It triggered code P0A43-00. The dealer initially couldn't recreate the code on 12/18/25 at which point they cleared the code and returned the car to us. It happened again on 12/30/25 at which point the dealer followed Chrysler instructions to conduct pin drag test but no problem was found. Dealer drove 60 mile test and didn't recreate the fault and returned car to us. The same issue again occurred on 1/9/26 at which point Chrysler authorized invasive transmission repairs. This issue directly aligns with recall 23V-010 and NHTSA ODI investigation RQ24004

In addition, the contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V302000 (Air Bags); however, the parts to complete the recall repair were not yet available. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure related to the recall. The failure mileage was not available.

Purchased new [XXX] from above. Towed/ driven to service over 3 attempts prior to 7/2023. Ongoing issue of vehicle FTS/intermittent FTS/vehicle cutting off while in gear. Multiple failed repairs, that would qualify for lemon. Parts replaced Summer 2023, minimal issues until 6/2025. 6/2025, FTS issues returned/dealer refused to run services; even with warranty. July 2025: van multiple FTS/error lights/eventually towed/loaner given. Constant claims issue could not be replicated at dealer. Go to p/u 8/8/25-would not start on lot, after being cleared. Chrysler tech sent out with no issues found per technician; although service manager reports he personally had multiple issues of FTS including AM of technician visit. Multiple conversations had with Mr. Sheets and Mr. Freeman. [XXX] FTS per “Red” at dealer prior to vehicle being returned to me; Foreman suggested ignition replacement/returned by dealer to residence that PM. RF Hub may need replaced, if issue reoccurred but shop refused to replace then. Van was taken to Pittsburgh, PA Labor Day weekend and FTS away from hotel on 9/2/25. Sheets provided loaner that PM at residence. RF hub replaced, van returned on 9/8/25. [XXX], van FTS at residence in late PM. 9/10/25, dealer contacted asking for service/loaner; no answers received. Drove after multiple FTS’s to dealer. Mr. Sheets stated “he can’t have me driving one of his cars for months” that dealer has “done all they can.” Also stated “Even though we’ve had issues from the start, there was a period where van functioned and ‘at least we got some use out of it.’ 9/19/25, Chrysler tech could not find issue and Mr. Freeman stated Mr. Sheets said “they will no longer pay for a rental going forward.” Multiple calls and media of vehicle failing to start. Vehicle unreliable/unsafe to operate on roadway. Vehicle not reliable to get to/from and cannot be relied upon in sudden event/ emergency; or if vehicle were to malfunction out of home area/in a dangerous environment. Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager vehicles. The spring inside the front seat harness connector may contact electrical terminals.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: The unintended connection may prevent the air bags from deploying, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the spring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 16, 2026. Owners may contact Braun's customer service at 1-800-488-0359.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2024 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Contamination in the central vision processing module or improper programming may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the central vision processing module software or replace the module, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning July 16, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 46D. Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Air bags with insufficient pressure retention increase the risk of ejection and injury during a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the side curtain air bags, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 14, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's numbers for this recall are 06D, 10D, and 11D. An improperly secured connector for the side curtain air bags may prevent the air bags from deploying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 214, "Side Impact Protection" and 226, "Ejection Mitigation."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An air bag that does not deploy during a crash increases the risk of injury.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. An electrical short may occur due to an incorrectly installed 12-volt battery isolator post, resulting in a fire while parked or driving.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A fire while parked or driving can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will correct the isolator to fit the anti-rotation stud, free of charge. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2023 Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Electric vehicles (PHEVs). An internal transmission wiring connector may short circuit, resulting in an unexpected engine shutdown.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An unexpected engine shutdown can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the Power Inverter Module (PIM) software and, if necessary, update the instrument panel cluster (IPC) and the electronic control module (ECM) software, free of charge. FCA US will notify dealers and begin notifying owners on or about: 03/21/2023 for 2021 model year vehicles, 05/02/2023 for 2019-2020 model year vehicles, and 06/15/2023 for 2017-2018 model year vehicles. On July 22, 2022, the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened investigation PE22-008 regarding complaints alleging a loss of motive power condition potentially due to a transmission malfunction in Model Years 2019-2021 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). On January 17, 2023, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) issued safety recall (NHTSA Recall 23V-010) involving 2017-2023 Model Years (MY) Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) produced between August 12, 2016, through January 9, 2023. The recall states that the loss of motive power condition in these vehicles is caused by an internal transmission wiring connector that may short circuit, resulting in an unexpected engine shutdown. An unexpected engine shutdown can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. In discussions with FCA on Recall 23V-010, ODI confirmed the recall was related to investigation PE22-008. The remedy for 23V-010 is to update the Power Inverter module (PIM) and/or Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) software to provide drivers a message stating “Stop Safely - Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon” followed by a chime and MIL, PRNDL blinking (on cluster and shifter knob), low SOC (State of Charge) warning and reduced power mode. The recall remedy does not replace the defective hardware that was described in Recall 23V-010, and the wiring connector short still exists on these vehicles. To date, ODI has received 132 reports for the population of vehicles subject to recall 23V-010. These reports allege a loss of motive power condition that reduces the vehicles speed, followed by dashboard warning lamps displaying messages associated with recall 23V-010. The presence of these warning lamps and messages indicates the vehicle likely had the recall remedy applied. Follow up discussions with FCA confirm their remedy does not prevent a loss of motive power, but instead limits torque to the engine and after an unspecified number of miles or period of time, the engine will shut down. When this occurs, FCA relies on the owner to transport the vehicle to a dealership after they experience a loss of motive power condition, at which time the defective hardware is replaced. Furthermore, the dashboard messages introduced in the recall remedy may cause the driver to pull over in an unsafe location. Pulling over in an unsafe location may expose the occupants to undue harm. The Office of Defects Investigation is opening this Recall Query (RQ) to assess the adequacy, frequency, and safety consequence of the remedy for recall 23V-010. On July 22, 2022, the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened PE22008 to investigate allegation of loss of motive power, potentially due to transmission malfunction, in certain Chrysler Pacifica vehicles. In a January 17, 2023 letter to NHTSA, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) submitted recall notice 23V-010 involving a transmission motor wiring defect in 67,118 model year (MY) 2017-2023 Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) manufactured from August 12, 2016 through January 9, 2023. FCA determined that an internal transmission connector short could result in an unexpected engine shutdown under certain conditions. Follow up correspondence with FCA confirmed this defect results in an electric motor position trouble code that was the basis for opening PE22008, therefore NHTSA is closing this investigation. The 23V-010 recall remedy is a software update to address the hardware failure associated with PE22008. When a hardware failure is detected, the vehicle limits motive power while instructing the driver to pull over to a safe location. NHTSA is concerned that drivers will pull over to an unsafe location when the warning message associated with the recall remedy displays on the dashboard. Due to the nature of the recall remedy and related reports, NHTSA has opened Recall Query RQ24004 to assess the recall remedy. The reports and failure report summary values included with this closing action are related to allegations of Recall 23V-010 remedy inadequacy. The Agency reserves the right to take additional action if warranted by future circumstances.
