THE TRANSMISSION ON THIS TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING. THE TRANSMISSION ON THIS TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING. WHEN STARTING IN THE MORNING IT WILL DO ONE OF THREE THINGS: SURGES AND TRANSMISSION SKIPS, HESITATE AND THEN RACE OR JUMP AHEAD, OR CHUNK AND THUNK LIKE IT REALLY DOESN'T WANT TO GO TO WORK AND SHIFTS HARD WHEN IT DOES. I KEEP ASKING WHEN GM WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND I KEEP GETTING THE RUN AROUND. I HAVE BROUGHT IT IN 3X, HAVE HAD DIAGNOSTICS RUN, TRANSMISSION FLUSHED AND OF COURSE IT HAS NOT HELPED. I AM NOW BRINGING IT BACK TO CHEVY DEALER AND NOW THEY SAY I HAVE TO DO THE NEXT STEP ACCORDING TO GM WHICH IS PUT IN A NEW TORQUE CONVERTER. I BOUGHT A BEAUTIFUL TRUCK THAT RUNS LIKE CRAP AND I AM VERY FRUSTRATED.

THE STEERING WHEEL VIBRATES AT AROUND 65 MPH. IT FEELS LIKE YOU ARE ROLLING OVER RUMBLE STRIPS. THE DEALERSHIP BALANCED THE TIRES, BUT THE VIBRATION CONTINUES. RESEARCHING THE ISSUE INDICATES IT MAY BE A PROBLEM WITH THE TORQUE CONVERTER.
