2009 Chevrolet Silverado

The contact owned a 2009 Chevrolet SIlverado. The contact stated that while driving at 50 MPH, the contact drifted off the highway which caused his vehicle to flip over three times and land right side up. The contact was able to escape the vehicle without major injury. The air bags did not deploy during the crash. The authorities arrived at the scene and the contact was examined by paramedics. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent tow yard where it was destroyed. Later that evening, the contact went to the emergency room where he was treated for a broken left rib. The dealer nor the manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. THIS STARTED A FEW YEARS AGO AND CONTINUES TO GET WORSE.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HAVING THE ANNUAL SERVICE PERFORMED, THE TECHNICIAN NOTIFIED THAT CONTACT THAT THE FRONT BUMPER WAS EXPOSED TO WATER CAUSING A SHORTAGE IN THE SENSOR. THE FAILURE CAUSED THE AIR BAG LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE AND IT WOULD PREVENT THE AIR BAG FROM DEPLOYING DURING A CRASH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE DASH ON MY 2009 CHEVROLET SILVERADO HAS CRACKED AROUND THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG. THIS CONCERNS ME AS IF THE AIR BAG DEPLOYS THIS WILL CAUSE PIECES OF THE DASH TO INJURE THE PERSON IT IS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT. THERE IS NUMEROUS INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET WITH PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I TOOK THIS TO THE CHEVROLET DEALER I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE FROM IN FOLEY AL AND THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. *TR
