WHILE TRAVELING ON THE INTERSTATE IN THE RAIN THE WIPERS STOPPED WORKING. AFTER PLAYING WITH THE WIPER CONTROLS FOR ABOUT 5 MINS THE WIPERS CAME BACK ON. AT OTHER TIMES THE WIPERS WILL NOT EVEN TURN ON WHEN THE SWITCH IS TURNED TO THE ON POSITION. I TOOK MY TRUCK TO SERRA CHEVROLET IN BHAM AL AND THEY CHECKED THE COMPUTER TO FIND MY TRUCK IS NOT ON RECALL EVEN THOUGH ALMOST EVERY CHEVY TRUCK FROM 1994 TO 1996 IS ON RECALL FOR THIS IDENTICAL PROBLEM. I ALSO CONTACTED CHEVY CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THE INTERNET, ONLY TO GET THE SAME ADVICE. HAVE THIS PROBLEM FIXED AND IF MY TRUCK GOES ON RECALL THEY WILL SEND OUT A NOTICE AND REIMBURSE ME FOR THE REPAIRS. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS IS THE ORIGINAL OWNER WILL BE THE PERSON WHO RECEIVES THIS NOTICE SO I WILL ONLY KNOW BY CONTINUOUSLY CHECKING YOUR WEB SITE. THANK YOU.
