SEAT FRAME BROKE ON LEFT FRONT CORNER, CAUSING SEAT TO MOVE UP AND DOWN. RESULT OF THE METRIC NUT BREAKING OFF OF A THIN STRIP OF METAL ATTACHED TO THE SEAT, THE METAL WAS WORN OUT FROM FREQUENT BENDING/FLEXING. DEALER CLAIMS FRAME NEEDS TO BE REPLACED . *AK *ML

WINDSHIELD WIPERS WORK INTERMITTENTLY. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT A DOZEN TIMES. MOST RECENTLY WITH MY MOTHER IN65 MPH IN RAIN WHEN THE WIPERS STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINDSHIELD. TALKING TO OTHER G.M. ONWERS, INCLUDING MY SON, HIS '96 TRUCK DOES THE SAMETHING. AT PLACE OF EMPLOYEMENT FRIENDS WITH A '94 & 96 MODELS HAVE HAD THE SAME EXPIRENCE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT CHEVROLET HAS ACKNOWLEDGED BUT NOT MY VIN NUMBER. WHERE DO THEY DRAW THE LINE? I'M NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER AND I FEEL CHEVROLET SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILTY BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY MUCH AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM FOR YEARS! *AK
THE LOCATION OF THE WIRING HARNESS IN THE STEERING COLUMN IS TOO SHORT, NOT ALLOWING ENOUGH SLACK FOR ADJUSTING THE STEERING WHEEL UP AND DOWN, CAUSING HEADLIGHTS TO BE INOPERATIVE, AND IMPAIRING VISIBILITY. INSTALLED A NEW WIRING HARNESS WITH A LONGER WIRES. *AK *ML
UPPER A-FRAME MOUNTING BOLT WORKED LOOSE ANDFELL OUT, RESULTING IN FRONT END FAILURE
