WHILE DRIVING TO AN ASSIGNED WORK AREA HEARD A NOISE UNDER THE BOTTOM OF THE TRUCK. STOPPED TO INSPECT THE NOISE. UPON INSPECTION, FOUND THE REAR GAS TANK STRAP DISCONNECTED. JUST THE FRONT STRAP WAS HOLDING THE TANK IN PLACE, BUT THE REAR OF THE TANK WAS HANGING DOWN WITHIN A COUPLE INCHES FROM THE GROUND. WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS, AND REPLACED A BOLT. WILL CONTACT THE DEALER.
REAR BRAKES LOCKED UP, BRAKES HAS BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES. WHEN CONSUMER APPLIED BRAKES CAR STARTED TO VIBRATE. CHEVROLET AGREED TO FIX BY 15-JUN-2000 OR REFUND FULL PURCHASE PRICE. *AK *ML

INTERSECTION) THE TRUCK WILL CONTINUE TO SURGE FORWARD TO THE POINT THAT I HAVE TO SHIFT INTO NUETRAL, I HAVE TAKEN IT TO 3 DIFFERENT CHEVROLET SERVICE DEPT. AND RECEIVED 3 DIFFERENT ANSWERS WITH ONE TELLING ME THAT CHEVY IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT DOES NOT HAVE A REMEDY YET. I FEEL THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED. I AM LOOKING FOR SOME DIRECTION ON HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. *AK
