DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE THAT WAS PURCHASED ON 06/16/06 WAS EQUIPPED WITH POOR QUALITY BRAKES IN THE REAR. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO EQUIPPED WITH DISC BRAKES IN THE FRONT AND DRUM BRAKES IN THE REAR. THE CONTACT EXPRESSED THAT THE SAME MODEL FROM YEARS 2000-2004 WAS EQUIPPED WITH STANDARD DISC BRAKES IN THE FRONT AND REAR, WHICH PROVIDE BETTER BRAKING POWER THAN DRUM BRAKES. THE CONTACT SUGGESTED THAT THE VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN EQUIPPED WITH THE STANDARD 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES SINCE THE VEHICLE IS A NEWER MODEL.
