TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 HD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE MERGING ONTO THE HIGHWAY AT 10 MPH, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MANAGED TO PUSH THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE HYBRID COMPONENTS FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES BUT NO SUCCESSFUL REMEDY WAS DISCOVERED. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WOULD SEIZE WHEN IN REVERSE AND THE CHECK POWER FLUID AND THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO EXPERIENCING THE FUEL GAUGE INDICATOR PROVIDING INACCURATE READINGS AND THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS ALSO FUNCTIONING ERRATICALLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUES BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 65,000. ..UPDATED 01/16/2013 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR 10 MONTHS, WHERE THEY ARE UNABLE TO REPAIR IT.
