I WAS DRIVING NORMAL LIKE I DO EVERYDAY AND WHEN TO APPLY THE BRAKE AND THE ABS KICKED IN WHEN IT DIDN'T NEED TO, THERE WASN'T WET ROADS OR ANYTHING TO CAUSE ANY ISSUE WITH TRACTION. THE ABS PUMPED AIR INTO THE BRAKES MAKING IT TOO HARD TO SLOW DOWN AND I ALMOST HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. THIS HAS NOW BEEN AN ISSUE FOR A FEW WEEKS HERE. I PUT MY SCAN TOOL IN IT TOLD ME THAT THE TROUBLE CODE WAS THE REAR BRAKE SENSOR IS ERRATIC......THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THERE IS NO BRAKE SENSORS OR EVEN SPEED SENSORS BACK THERE AND WITH FURTHER INFORMATION I FOUND THAT MANY PEOPLE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND THE CAUSE IS A 800 DOLLAR ABS ELECTRONIC HYDRAULIC UNIT.I READ THAT THERE WAS A RECALL THAT EFFECTED 2.5 MILLION GM VEHICLE MODELS INCLUDING MINE BUT I CANT FIND ANYTHING. THIS PROBLEM CAN BE LIFE THREATENING TO NOT ONLY ME BUT THE PEOPLE AROUND ME IN TRAFFIC IF SOMEONE DECIDES TO CUT ME OFF OR IF I EVER NEEDED TO BRAKE HARD I AM ALMOST SURE THAT I WILL SLAM INTO THEM OR SOMETHING. HOPEFULLY WITH THIS COMPLAINT THERE WILL BE RESOLUTION. *TR
