IN A PARKING LOT, PUT IN REVERSE, VEHICLE WENT INTO OPEN THROTTLE POSITION, APPLIED BRAKES, BRAKE PEDAL BECAME HARD, VEHICLE SKIDDED AND HIT A SPEED BUMP, TURN WHEEL AND VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP. *AK
THE BREAK PADS AND THE CALIPERS WEAR OUT VERY QUICKLY WITHIN 10, 000-12,000 MILES. REPLACED AND SERVICED 3 TIMES IN 50,000 MILES. NEEDS REPLACING AGAIN. WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THE PEDAL GOES ABOUT 1 INCH FROM THE FLOOR AND VEHICLE DOES NOT STOP ON TIME. *AK

THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT BACK HEIGHT DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 202, "HEAD RESTRAINTS."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: SEAT OCCUPANTS ARE SUBJECT TO INCREASED RISK OF INJURY IN THE EVENT OF A SUDD STOP OR ACCIDENT.
Remedy: SHERRY DESIGNS WILL PROVIDE AN ATTACHABLE HEADREST FOR THE DEALER OR CUSTOMER TO ADD TO THE SEATS.

THE TRANSFORMER USED TO POWER THE NEON CENTER LIGHTBEAM CAN OVERHEAT AND CATCH ON FIRE.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: THE OVERHEATING AND FIRES CAUSED BY THE NEON TRANSFORMER CAN RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE LIGHTBEAM ASSEMBLY, THE ROOF OF THE VEHICLE, AND COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE FIRE.
Remedy: MARK III DEALERS WILL MODIFY THE ASSEMBLIES TO ELIMINATE THE NEON LIGHTING FIXTURE IN THE VEHICLE AND REPLACE IT WITH INCANDESCENT LIGHTS OPERATING DIRECTLY FROM THE VEHICLE 12-VOLT BATTERY.

THESE VEHICLES WERE EQUIPPED WITH INCORRECT SPARE WHEELS. THE USE OF AN INCORRECT SPARE WHEEL IN A MOUNTED POSITION CAN, UNDER CERTAIN LOAD CONDITIONS, EVENTUALLY CAUSE THE WHEEL TO CRACK AND POSSIBLY SEPARATE FROM THE VEHICLE.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: SHOULD THE WHEEL CRACK AND SEPARATE FROM THE VEHICLE, LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL CAN OCCUR, RESULTING IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT WARNING.
