DUE TO THE DESIGN OF THE MOTOR THERE WAS TOO MUCH TENSION ON THE BELT BOLT. BOLT NOT STRONG ENOUGH WHICH CAUSED BELT TO FAIL/ DAMAGING RADIATOR, AND BREAKING THE BRACKET. CONSUMER NOTED THAT PROBLEM HAD OCCURRED WITHIN THE LAST THREE YEARS. DEALER HAS REPLACED THE BOLT, BELT AND THE BRACKET. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS…

SEAT BACK OF THE REAR BENCH SEAT MAY BREAK AWAY FROM THE SEAT CUSHION IN AN ACCIDENT.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: SEAT OCCUPANT WOULD BE SUBJECT TO GREATER INJURY; VEHICLEWOULD NOT COMPLY WITH FMVSS 207.

Remedy: INSTALL REINFORCEMENT THAT RUNS FROM SIDE OF SEAT BACK FRAME ASSEMBLY TO SEAT CUSHION FRAME ASSEMBLY, STRENGTHENING THE SEAT BACK.
