124 reportsTHIS CAR HAS 3K ON IT AND TOOK IT TO THE DEALER FOR A SLIGHT VIBRATION ONLY TO BE TOLD NOT ONE BUT (4) WHEEL WERE BENT. THIS IS MY 5TH CORVETTE, NEVER HAD AN EPISODE SO VIOLENT AS TO BEND (4) WHEELS AND I DRIVE THIS CAR EVERY DAY
I EXPERIENCED THREE CRACKS IN MY REAR PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL AFTER OWNING THE CAR 6 MONTHS AND NOT HITTING ANY POT HOLES. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE TIRE AT ALL.
UNLIKE MY REAR-LEFT WHEEL (SEE COMPLAINT #11192823) WHICH HAS FOUR CRACKS AND LOSES ABOUT 24 PSI PER DAY, MY RIGHT-REAR WHEEL ISN'T LOSING ANY AIR (YET). HOWEVER I PULLED THE IT OFF TONIGHT AND DISCOVERED TWO CRACKS DEVELOPING ON IT AS WELL. AGAIN, AS IN THE LEFT-REAR WHEEL, THERE ARE NO BUMPS OR BRUISES ON THE RIM AT THE POINTS…

118V360000 · Air Bags: Air Bag/restraint Control Module

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 vehicles. Hard braking or acceleration may cause the sensing diagnostic module (SDM) to enter a fault state. As a result, the SDM will not provide crash sensing or deploy the necessary air bags in the event of a crash.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: In the event of a crash, if the air bags do not deploy as designed, the occupants have an increased risk of injury.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the SDM with updated software, free of charge. The recall began on June 29, 2018. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is 18195.
