11 reportsWHILE DRIVING ENGINE LOCKED UP,EMITTING WHITE SMOKE. MECHANIC STATED THAT FUEL PUMP DUMPED A LOT OF FUEL INTO THE BLOCK , CAUSING THE ENGINE TO LOCK UP.*AK
FUEL INJECTION PUMP FAIL DUE TO DESIGN DEFECT.
WHILE DRIIVNG VEHICLE FAULTY FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM CAUSED ENGINE TO QUIT, FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM HAS BEEN REPLACED 6 TIMES, BUT PROBLEM REMAINS. CAUSE UNKNOWN. *AK ALSO THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED. *JB
SOMETIMES VEHICLE SURGES WHILE SITTING AT STOP SIGN OR GOING UNDER 1000 RPMS, BUT MOST OF THE TIME IT LOSES POWER WHILE TRAVELING AT 50-75 MPH.
FUEL INJECTION PUMP FAILURE.
THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY STALLED OUT BECAUSE THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP WENT OUT. DEALER HAS FIXED 4 TIMES. *AK
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM FAILED SEVERAL TIMES.
WHEN TRAVELING 55 MPH THE VEHICLE CUTS OFF WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER, DEALER HAS REPLACED THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
ENGINE STALLS AT HIGH AND LOW SPEEDS. DEALER REPLACED FUEL INJECTION PUMP 3 TIMES OUT OF 6 VISITS, STILL STALLING. *AK

THE OFFICE OF DEFECTS INVESTIGATION HAS RECEIVED 375 REPORTS ALLEGING FAILURE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT FRAME WHICH IS PRONE TO BREAKAGE AT THE LEFT FRONT ATTACHING POINT.WHEN THIS OCCURS, THE SEAT MAY TILT AWAY FROM THE RISER DURING ACCELERATING OR BRAKING.(SEE CLOSING REPORT)
