CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING ON THE ROAD AT APPROXIMATE 35 MPH WHEN VEHICLE CAME TO A HEAD-ON COLLISION INTO A BANKS WITH FRONT BUMPER. AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. DEALER/MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH VEHICLE STRUCK TWO TREES ,IMPACT WAS DIRECT CENTER OF VEHICLE IN WHICH THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT OF DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG. PROBLEM WAS NOT FOUND BY GM INSPECTOR. VEHICLE WAS TOTALED *AK
DURING FRONTAL IMPACT AT 45 TO 50MPH, THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK
VEHICLE WAS IN FRONTAL CRASH, AIRBAG DIDNT DEPLOY. CAUSE UNKNOWN.
NO DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAG DURING COLLISION.

THE OFFICE OF DEFECTS INVESTIGATION HAS RECEIVED 375 REPORTS ALLEGING FAILURE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT FRAME WHICH IS PRONE TO BREAKAGE AT THE LEFT FRONT ATTACHING POINT.WHEN THIS OCCURS, THE SEAT MAY TILT AWAY FROM THE RISER DURING ACCELERATING OR BRAKING.(SEE CLOSING REPORT)
