4 reportsTAKATA RECALL AND THE REMEDY TO FIX IT IS UNAVAILABLE FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. GM KEEPS TELLING ME THAT I HAVE A SAFE VEHICLE.
TAKATA RECALL -- MY DASHBOARD IS CRACKED, I FEAR FOR ALL OF US THAT HAVE CRACKED DASHBOARDS AROUND OUR AIRBAGS. THE SPEED AT WHICH THESE AIRBAGS DEPLOY COULD EASILY TURN THESE BROKEN PIECES INTO SHRAPNEL.
CRACKED DASH. INHERENT DESIGN FAULT. GM NOT INTERESTED IN REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUE IF AIR BAG DEPLOYS.
