THE VAN WAS IN THE PARKING GEAR WITH THE IGNITION OFF, AND THE GEAR SHIFT WENT FROM PARK TO DRIVE, CAUSING THE VAN TO ROLL FORWARD. BEFORE THIS HAPPENED, THE GEAR SHIFT WAS STUCK IN THE PARKING GEAR FOR ABOUT 5 OR 10 MINUTES, AND RIGHT AFTER TURNING OFF THE ENGINE THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED. THE PARK SOLENOID AND THE CRUISE CONTROL VALVE WAS REPLACED BY A MECHANIC. *AK
CONSUMER STATES RECALL ON CRUISE CONTROL. SWITCH REPLACED (4) TIMES AS A RESULT WHILE SITTING STOPPED VEHICLE WILL LUNGE FORWARD EXCESSIVELY WITH NO WARNING.

THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT BACK HEIGHT DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 202, "HEAD RESTRAINTS."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: SEAT OCCUPANTS ARE SUBJECT TO INCREASED RISK OF INJURY IN THE EVENT OF A SUDD STOP OR ACCIDENT.
Remedy: SHERRY DESIGNS WILL PROVIDE AN ATTACHABLE HEADREST FOR THE DEALER OR CUSTOMER TO ADD TO THE SEATS.
