20 reportsWHILE CORNING AT 15 MPH FRONT OF THE VEHICLE DROPPED DOWN, CAUSING THE AXLE TO BREAK. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT 10 TO 30 MPH THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TORSION BAR COMPLETELY BROKE, CAUSING THE FRONT END SUPPORT TO COLLAPSE, AND VEHICLE HAD TO SPIN TO STOP. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THE TORSION BAR HAS BROKEN, IN THE SAME PLACE BOTH TIMES. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK *ML
WHEN OWNER WENT TO SIT UP IN THE VAN, THE LEFT FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE CORNER DROPPED DOWN ONTO THE WHEEL. AFTER THE VAN WAS TOWED TO A GARAGE, THE TORSION BAR WAS FOUND TO BE BROKEN. THIS PART IS ON BACK ORDER. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
FRONT SUSPENSION TORSION RIGHT AND LEFT BOTH FAILED CAUSING VEHICLE TO COLLAPSE IN FRONT.
WHEN STEPPING ON THE RUNNING B0ARD TO GET INTON THE VAN, THE TORSION BAR BROKE. MANUFACTURE/DEALER HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED ABOUT THE PROBLEM. NOT WILLING TO REPLACE FREE OF CHARGE. DEALER DID STATE THAT THE PART HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. THE TORSION BAR HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED AT THIS TIME. *AK

ON FIVE OCCASIONS THE BRAKE PADS WERE REPLACED, THE ROTORS AND THE BALL JOINTS WERE ALSO REPLACED ONCE. PLEASE DESCRIBE . *AK

THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT BACK HEIGHT DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 202, "HEAD RESTRAINTS."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: SEAT OCCUPANTS ARE SUBJECT TO INCREASED RISK OF INJURY IN THE EVENT OF A SUDD STOP OR ACCIDENT.
Remedy: SHERRY DESIGNS WILL PROVIDE AN ATTACHABLE HEADREST FOR THE DEALER OR CUSTOMER TO ADD TO THE SEATS.
