THIS PAINT PEELING OFF THE VEHICLE IS A FACTORY DEFECT AND GENERAL MOTORS HAS ACKNOWLEGED THAT IN THEIR LETTERS TO THE DEALERSHIPS. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I CAN DO TO MAKE GENERAL MOTORS REPAINT MY VEHICLE. WHAT DOES A WARRANTY BEING OUT HAVE TO DO WITH A FACTORY DEFECT THAT WAS THEIR FAULT FROM THE BEGINNING? PLEASE HELP.NO SAFETY DEFECT LISTED IN SUMMARY. NO SAFETY DEFECT LISTED IN THE SUMMARY. *AK
ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHILE DRIVING 20MPH AND BRAKING QUICKLY, THE ABS FAILED COMPLETELY, REAR ENDING ANOTHER VEHICLE. CONTACTED DEALER. DEALER INFORMED CONSUMER VEHICLE WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. *AK
CIGARETTE LIGHTER WAS DEPRESSED AND WOULD NOT POP BACK OUT. RATHER THAN BLOWING THE 30 AMP FUSE ,IT STARTED BURNING WIRING HARNESS, CAUSING FIRE HAZARD.
ABS LIGHT CAME ON, AND THE ABS BRAKES WERE NOT WORKING. DEALER RESET ABS BRAKES ONE TIME, AND THEY DID NOT WORK. RESET THEM AGAIN, AND THIRD TIME THEY COULD NOT RESET THEM. THE SYSTEM HAD GONE TO BAD. *AK
TRANSMISSION CHANGED GEARS WHENEVER OVERDRIVE WAS USED..CONSUMER WOULD LIKE NHTSA HELP TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THIS CONDITION, IF THIS IS NORMAL OR NOT. *AK
HANDLES ON ALL DOORS KEEP BREAKING ,DISCONNECT BY THEMSELVES FROM LOCKING MECHANISM, CAUSING DOOR TO BE INOPERATIVE. *AK

Consequence & remedy
Consequence: CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: SEAT OCCUPANTS ARE SUBJECT TO INCREASED RISK OF INJURY IN THE EVENT OF A SUDD STOP OR ACCIDENT.
Remedy: SHERRY DESIGNS WILL PROVIDE AN ATTACHABLE HEADREST FOR THE DEALER OR CUSTOMER TO ADD TO THE SEATS.
